How long has ActionCOACH been in business?
ActionCOACH was founded in 1993, and is the largest and oldest business coaching company in the world.
What are ActionCOACH’s franchise offerings?
We have two offerings, the practice and the firm. The practice is an individual franchise license for a person who wants to be an individual coach. The firm is a unlimited number of licenses for a specified territory where the owner is developing a professional services business and employing multiple coaches.
Do I receive training from ActionCOACH?
Yes. We require all of our coaches to complete the ActionCOACH training program, including pre-training, induction training and post training.
What is the term of my franchise agreement?
Practice agreements are 5 and 7 years and firm agreements are 5 years. Both can be renewed multiple times under the terms of the franchise agreements.
What is my territory?
Territory depends on the franchise offering selected. Please discuss with our franchise development team.
What is the total investment?
Total investment varies greatly depending on whether a practice or firm is being considered. Please discuss with our franchise development team.
How much profit can I make?
The amount you will make is based on many variables, including your efforts. Please review the Financial Performance Representations in our Franchise Disclosure Document. We also encourage you to contact our existing franchisees to conduct your due diligence research.
How do I get started?
First, fill out the online application form and submit it to us. Upon receipt of the application, you will be contacted by one of our representatives to discuss the ActionCOACH franchise opportunity. What is the difference between a coach and a consultant?
Consultant’s provide valuable information and services for clients by delivering the work product of their knowledge and skills in exchange for fees. The consulting relationship is a type of employee relationship with the client – the client selects and directs the overall focus of the consultant. The consultant does 80% of the work, and the client does 20%.
As a coach, we are coaching and directing our clients. We train, supply tools and techniques and support our clients. We are hired for our skills, systems, leadership and the accountability and focus we provide. We help our clients grow and develop. We do not trade time for money. Our clients do 80% of the work, and we as coaches do 20%.
